    • Inspiration

      Graham Heights is situated between Barbican and Cherry Gardens in St. Andrew Parish. This neighbourhood, in the foothills of Jamaica’s Blue Mountains was a cluster of red-roofed houses and was my home for my first 8 years. My days were spent running barefoot on Toucan Way and Birdsucker Drive, while my evenings were spent with my tribe, sitting on the curbs of our dimly lit streets. Time stood still for us, these were our streets, and we were the kings and queens of Graham Heights. My tribe consisted of my sister Melissa, Trudy, Bonnie, Kim, Anna, Phillip, Damien, Dean, Christopher, Theresa, Andy, Matthew, Nicholas, Jodie, Dexie, Mark, Douglas, and myself. I've never again had friends like these, and I’ve been a nomad ever since.
